Application Scenarios And Dimensional Comparison Of Seam Welding Wheels

Automotive Manufacturing: Primarily used for the hermetic welding of components such as fuel tanks, mufflers, and shock absorbers. This application requires welding wheels with high electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as excellent wear resistance, to ensure consistency in mass production.

Home Appliances and Hardware: Used for the continuous welding of thin-gauge sheet metal, such as in water heater inner tanks, metal drum bodies, and filter screens. For stainless steel or galvanized sheets, chromium-zirconium copper (CrZrCu) welding wheels are recommended to prevent deformation caused by localized overheating.

High-Strength Welding: For welding high-strength steel or thick plates, beryllium copper (BeCu) welding wheels are preferred. Their superior hardness at elevated temperatures allows them to withstand greater electrode pressure, thereby minimizing deformation of the welding wheel.
