Product Introduce
The electric furnace copper water tank is a core water-cooled spare part for steelmaking electric arc furnaces. Mounted at the electrode penetration position on the furnace roof, it is a critical component ensuring stable furnace operation under high-temperature working conditions. It is available in monolithic structure and detachable split structure. For the split version, the front panel can be independently disassembled for maintenance. It is fitted with lifting hooks and equipped with slag retention grooves.

Forging → Rough & semi-finish machining → Copper-steel welding → NDT & hydrostatic pressure test → Finish machining
Functions
1. Efficient cooling: Dissipates intense arc radiant heat at furnace roof electrode hole, protects furnace roof steel structure against high-temp deformation.
2. Furnace sealing: Compression sealing assembly at central electrode hole seals gaps, stops high-temperature flue gas & dust escape and stabilizes furnace pressure.
3. Insulation protection: Water-cooled structure isolates high current from graphite electrodes to prevent leakage and arcing on furnace steelwork.
4. Anti-erosion protection: Surface slag retention grooves trap molten slag to form a protective layer, mitigating direct attack on copper matrix by arc and high-temperature plasma.
